Ahimsa

I would like to invite you today to be part  of the greatest socials justice movement that the world has ever known

The Legacy We Inherited

For over 2,500 years, India has stood as the global anchor for Ahimsa—the sacred principle of complete non-injury to living beings. Historically, our relationship with animals was built on reverence, protection, and mutual respect.

The Modern Crisis

Today, modern factory farming quietly operates in direct violation of this ancient heritage, subjecting billions of sentient animals to systemic confinement and exploitation.

Animals are here with us; Not for us!

To believe that human species can do what ever it wants to do to any animal species, is the essence of bigotry and hatred. Cows, chickens, pigs and goats are kept in the most egregious conditions imaginable and if you were ever to look into those eyes you will see more pain and suffering than you will ever be capable of imagining.

We share the same ancestor with apes. Our ancestors got most of their nutrition from gathered fruits and nuts. The majority of the food consumed by primates today - and for the last thirty million years is vegetable, fruit and nuts. Plants are what our apey and even earlier ancestors ate.

These Animals and their suffering is not worth what it is that we are exploiting them for. Animals hunt animals for sustenance, Humans breed and then slaughter them for greed. This is the difference. If you spend even a moment thinking about this seriously you will want to and you will be a better person for it.

Honouring Our Past, Changing Our Future

True compassion means extending our circle of protection to the animals on our plates. By reviving our foundational roots of non-violence and choosing a plant-based lifestyle, we can restore harmony, protect our health, and grant every living being their birthright to live free from harm.

"To be free, we must practice freeing others. To feel loved, we must practice loving others. To have true self-respect, we must respect others. The animals and other voiceless beings, the starving humans and future generations, are pleading with us to see: it's on our plate." — Will Tuttle
